Paahan ko asthaalyo ko sir nyaae phiryo kahhu haayh na aayo|| Re man moo? agoo? prabhoo taj(i) aapan hoo? kahaa urjhaayo||26||
You had been wandering with bowed head in the temples of stones, hut you realized nothing; O foolish mind ! you were only entangled in your bad intellect abandoning that Effulgent Lord.26.

Jo jugeaan ke jaae uth(i) aashram Gorakh ko tih jjaap japaavai|| Jaae sannyaasan ke tih ko kah Datt hisatt hai mantra dri?aavai||
The person, who goes to the hermitage of Yogis and causes the Yogis to remember the name of Gorkh; who, amongst the Sannyasis tells them the mantra of Duttatreya as true,

Jo kooo jaae turakkan mai maih deen ke deen tise gaih lyaavai|| aapach(i) beech ganai kartaa kartaar ko bhed(u) na kooo bataavai||27||
Who going amongst the Muslims, speaks about their religious faith, consider him only showing off the greatness of his learning and does not talk about the Mystery of that Creator Lord.27.

Jo jugeeaan ke jaae kahai sabh jogan ko grah(i) maal uthai dai|| Jo paro bhaaj(i) sanyaasan dai kahai Datt ke Naam pai dhaam lutai dai||
He, who on the persuasion of the Yogis gives in charity all his wealth to them; who squanders his belongings to Sannyasis in the name of Dutt,

Jau kar(i) kooo masandan sau kahai sarab darab lai mohe abai dai|| Leo hileo kahai sabh ko nar kooo na Brahm bataae hamai dai||28||
Who on the direction of the Masands (the priests appointed for collections of funds) takes the wealth of Sikhs and gives it to me, then I think that these are only the methods of selfish-disciplines; I ask such a person to instruct me about the Mystery of

Jau kar(i) kooo masandan kikahai aan(i) prasaadh sabhai mohe deejai|| Jo kachhu maal tavaalaya so ab giuth(i) bhet hamaarihikeejai||
He, who serves his disciples and impresses the people and tells them to hand over the victuals to him and present before him whatever they had in their homes;

Mero idhyaan dharo nis baasur bhool kai aur ko naam na leejai|| Deene ko Naam sunai bhaaj(i) raatah(i) leene binaa nah(i) naik praseejai||29||
He also asks them to think of him and not to remember the name of anyone else; consider that he has only a Mantra to give, but he would not be pleased without taking back something.29.

aaaakhan bheear(i) tel kau ?aar su logan neer(i) bahaae dikhaavai|| Jo dhanvaan(u) lakhai nij sevaktaahiparos(i) prasaadh jimaavai||
He, who puts oil in his eyes and just shows to the people that he was weeping for the love of the Lord; he, who himself serves meals to his rich disciples,
 

jo Dn hIn lKY iqh dyq n mwgn jwq muKo n idKwvY ] lUtq hY psu logn ko kbhUM n pRmysur ky gun gwvY ] 30]
Jo dhan heen lakhai tih det na maagan jaat mukho na dikhaavai|| Lootat hai pasu logan ko kab-hoon na pramesur ke gun gaavai||30||
But gives nothing to the poor one even on begging and even does not want to see him, then consider that base fellow is merely looting the people and does not also sing the Praises of the Lord.30.

aankhan meech rahai bak kijm logan ek prapanch dikhaayo|| Niaat phiryo sir(u) baddhak jyon as dhyaan bilok bi?aal lajaayo||
He closes his eyes like a crane and exhibits deceit to the people; he bows his heads like a hunter and the cat seeing his meditation feels shy;

Laag(i) phiryo dhan aas jitai tit log gayo parlog gavaayo|| Sribhagvant bhajya na are jam dhaam ke kaam kahaa urjhaayo||31||
Such a person wanders merely with the desire to collect wealth and loses the merit of this as well as the next world; O foolish creature! You have not worshipped the Lord and had been uselessly entangle in the domestic as well as outside affairs.31.

Phokat karam dri?aat kahaa in logan ko koikaam na aihai|| Bhaajat kaa dhan bet are jam kinkar te nah bhaajan pai hai||
Why do you tell repeatedly to these people for performing the actions of heresy? These works will not be of any use to them; why are you running hither and thither for wealth? You may do anything, but you will bot be able to escape from the noose of Yama;

Puttra kalittra na mittra sabhai thaa sikkh sakhaa kooo saakh na dai hai|| Chet re chet achet mahaan pasu ant kibaar akelo ijai hai||32||
Even you son, wife an friend will not bear witness to you and none of them will speak for you; therefore, O fool ! take care of yourself even now, because ultimately you will have to go alone.32.

To tan traagat hisun re ja? prêt bakhaan triaa bhaaj(i) jai hai|| Puttra kalattra su mitra sakhaa eh beg nikaaroh aais(u) dai hai||
After abandoning the body, O fool ! Your wife will also run away calling you a ghost; the son, wife and friend, all will say that you should be taken out immediately and cause you to go to the cemetery;
